Controls Technician - 3rd shift

To help us drive excellence, you'll get to:
ā¢ Maintain and improve upon all hardware required for control systems on manufacturing floor
ā¢ Understand and support PLC and HMI programs
ā¢ Support robotic programming (ABB, Fanuc, Siemens)
ā¢ Assist engineers in specifying ancillary robotic welding equipment including weld guns, torches, cabling, dress out, tool changes, tip dressers, and torch cleaners
ā¢ Use computer-based engineering software and equipment (PLC & HMI base programs, PC based programs, CAD based programs)
ā¢ Test suspect control or electrical devices for failures
ā¢ Perform all duties & operates machinery/equipment to MIOSHA standards
This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Required experience:
ā¢ 2+ years of PLC experience (Siemens and/or Allen Bradley)
ā¢ Knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, and MIG welding
ā¢ Associates degree preferred
