A leading digital streaming network seeks a Controllership Functional Project Management Lead - Oracle Fusion Implementation. The successful candidate will drive the successful implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP across our global media and entertainment enterprise as well as serve as the primary liaison between the Controllership function and the broader Oracle Fusion program, ensuring that accounting, consolidation, financial reporting, and compliance requirements are met while enabling standardization and change management across our businesses.
Controllership Functional Project Management Lead - Oracle Fusion Implementation Responsibilities:
ā¢ Lead the end-to-end functional project management of Controllership workstreams within the Oracle Fusion implementation, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Source-to-Pay (S2P), Content, Acquire-to-Retire (A2R), Project-to-Result (P2R) and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
ā¢ Partner with cross-functional teams (Planning, Technology, and Oracle Consulting Services) to define and deliver solutions that meet financial and operational needs.
ā¢ Coordinate, provide input, clearly communicate and track progress of design sessions, validations, testing cycles and conversion plans, ensuring key design and configuration decisions meet critical business requirements, are sufficiently represented in testing plans, and are aligned with program milestones and go-live targets.
ā¢ Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls, maximizing use of Oracle out-of-the-box functionality and configuration, including for master data management, approval workflows, account reconciliation, journal entry standards, cross-validation rules, intercompany transaction logic, cash flow statement preparation, allocations and international localization requirements.
ā¢ Represent Controllership in program governance forums and executive updates, articulating progress, challenges, and strategic implications.
Controllership Functional Project Management Lead - Oracle Fusion Implementation Qualifications:
ā¢ 10+ years of experience in controllership, accounting operations, or financial systems implementation within a large, global organization.
ā¢ 5+ years of ERP Oracle Fusion experience.
ā¢ Experience in the media and entertainment industry, particularly with content accounting, is preferred.
ā¢ EPM module is a nice-to-have.
ā¢ Completed Fusion implementation in the last 5 years.
ā¢ Able to work across different organizations within our conglomerate.
ā¢ Asana for tracking, SharePoint, and the MS Office suite are preferred.
ā¢ CPA or equivalent accounting qualification is preferred.
ā¢ Proven track record leading ERP implementations (Oracle Fusion) with a focus on accounting and finance functions. Should have completed a Fusion implementation in the last 5 years.
ā¢ Deep understanding of financial accounting and close processes, intercompany accounting, and enterprise data governance.
ā¢ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
ā¢ Agile mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and user-centric design.
ā¢ Familiarity with Oracle ERP, EPM, FCC, and EDM modules is preferred.
ā¢ Strong change management skills.
ā¢ CPA is highly preferred.
