About the position
Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is seeking a dedicated and personable Part-Time Controller to provide outsourced accounting services to nonprofit organizations. This role involves transforming financial departments, managing multiple clients, and ensuring compliance with best practices. Responsibilities
Ā Serve as the outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple non-profit clients.

Ā Transform nonprofit client financial departments to help them meet their mission.

Ā Prepare financial reporting for management and Board decision making and presentations.
,
Ā Recommend and implement improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies and procedures.
,
Ā Handle transactional activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Ā Conduct analysis and data visualization, budgeting, and forecasting.
,
Ā Manage grant management, allocations, and funder reporting.
,
Ā Prepare for and manage annual audits.
,
Ā Provide client and staff training opportunities.
Requirements
Ā Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.

Ā 5-7 plus years accounting experience.
,
Ā Experience working in a remote environment preferred.
,
Ā Ability to manage and lead multiple clients, work independently, and be responsive on a timely basis.
,
Ā Demonstrated strong Microsoft Excel skills.
,
Ā Experience with multiple GL packages, especially QuickBooks, and electronic bill pay systems.
,
Ā Non-profit accounting, public accounting experience, and/or consulting experience is a plus but not required.

Ā CPA certification is a plus.
,
Ā Bilingual-English/Spanish a plus.

Ā Experience in nonprofit accounting or consulting is a plus.

Ā Familiarity with various GL packages and electronic bill pay systems.
