Key Responsibilities


Lead and plan work activities for Control Systems Specialists/Leads to achieve goals and objectives of North America Client Satisfaction groups
Collaborate with building Operations, Projects Engineering, FC Start-up Team, Backend Programming groups, Pros group, and Safety in supporting MHE systems optimization and project execution
Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks
Monitor MHE metrics and partner with maintenance/operations to resolve system performance issues and provide analysis across all operations
Provide first-level escalation support for Control Systems Specialists/Leads during and after business hours, troubleshooting locally and remotely
Escalate downtime situations to vendors or headquarters for assistance to restore equipment operation
Coach Control Systems Technicians (CST) and Control Systems Leads (CSL) within your assigned building
Participate in Failure Investigation and Incident Review processes and implement process improvements or retraining to prevent future occurrences
Apply subject matter expertise in material handling and electrical systems to maximize engineering utilization of systems
Perform, Use, and provide analysis building System Evaluations to assess material handling system performance
Collaborate with other building Operations management, equipment vendors, and parts suppliers to plan and coordinate new technology installations


Essential Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or +2 years of Amazon Blue Badge/FTE experience
Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/regions, including weekends, evenings, and holidays


Preferred Qualifications


Experience with electrical theory, Mechatronics, Controls components, automated equipment
Experience identifying, maintaining, troubleshooting, programming, and designing HMI and control network components
Experience identifying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying Engine Controls including motor starters, Variable Frequency Drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components
Industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems
Experience interpreting, editing, and creating mechanical and electrical drawings
Experience identifying, maintaining, and using SCADA systems and KPIs
Knowledge of programming, such as RSLogix5000 studio, FT View, and other controls software platforms
Experience with Robotics work cells and its control systems
Ability to lead others in a technical role and collaborate with all levels of management
