Contractor Sourcing Specialist

Applies sales methodology to source independent owner/operators and multi-unit fleet owners. Responsible for proactively sourcing sufficient potential contractors & fleet owners to meet or exceed their individual performance measures. Identifies best practices and process improvements in sourcing contractors and fleet management with targeted Contractors & Fleet Owners.

Essential Functions
• Sales Process - Uses sales methodology (prospecting, lead generation, screening, follow-up, selecting, and closing) to develop a pipeline of drivers and owner operators to become independent contractors with FXC. Uses FXC’s value proposition to strategically gage individual interests and to ensure an alignment of needs and addresses objections honestly. Use company policies to pre-qualify prospect. Represents the company at truck shows, workshops, and other events. Maintains and updates Customer Relationship Management system with accurate and timely information.
• Communications - Proactively communicates with new contractors weekly during their first 60 days. Works to identify areas of opportunity to increase fleet retention. Educates contractors on any policies and procedures. Troubleshoots concerns to (1) improve individual sales process and (2) to overcome concerns for achieving individual retention goals for the quarter.
• Building the Fleet - Nurtures new relationships built in the sourcing process. Advises contractor fleet of current market trends and conditions as needed to assist in growing the contractor fleet profitably. Consults with individual unit owners that aspire to become multi-unit owners. Assists in facilitating & qualifying drivers for their fleet owners to keep their truck(s) in service.
• Partnership - Build and maintain relationships with Operations team. Works with Operations to identify and resolve potential issues with contractors that may affect fleet retention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma

Minimum Experience

2+ years in recruiting or sale experience, managing a sales process from cold calling to close.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $22.40- $28.00 depending on experience.
