Contracted School Paraprofessional
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team for a full-time position within school districts in the Westfield, IN area. We are conducting interviews now for this immediate opportunity.
Key Responsibilities...
Assist teachers in the classroom by providing additional support to students.
Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who require extra help.
Support students with special needs, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations.
Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive, productive learning environment.
Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom organization.
Supervise students during non-classroom activities such as lunch, recess, and field trips.
Requirements:
Must meet all local and state requirements for paraprofessionals, including:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree or higher, or at least two years of post-secondary education, is preferred.
May be required to completed the ParaPro Assessment.
Must pass a background check as required by the school district.
Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly preferred.
