Contract Therapist (LCSW or LMFT) – Flexible Schedule, Telehealth
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling, with experience in various therapeutic modalities and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working with diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families and those facing mental health challenges. This role offers flexible scheduling, a steady stream of referrals, and the opportunity to focus on clinical work without the administrative burden of running your own practice.
Responsibilities
• Conduct initial intake assessments and create treatment plans
• Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Deliver services via secure telehealth platform
Requirements
• Active and unrestricted LCMSW or LMFT license in NY
• Minimum of 1 year post-licensure clinical experience preferred
• Must have liability insurance and operate as an LLC or be incorporated
• Training or experience in couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or evidence-based modalities is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
