Job DescriptionTravel Nurse Practitioner (Part-Time) - Madison, WIAlso known as: Advanced Practice Nurse, Mobile NP, Locum Tenens NP, Per Diem Advanced Practice ProviderWe're currently seeking a part-time Travel Nurse Practitioner to provide flexible, as-needed clinical coverage in Madison, Wisconsin. This opportunity is perfect for a seasoned Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who's looking to make an impact with a low-commitment, mobile role.This 10-hour-per-week position is on-call, requiring you to respond to occasional calls from the clinical and administrative teams. Experience in wound care is essential for success in this role.Job Responsibilities Provide mobile patient care visits in and around the Madison, WI region Handle incoming calls from other nurse practitioners and administrators regarding care plans and required documentation Perform thorough patient evaluations, deliver wound care, and follow up on existing treatment plans Operate independently within clinical guidelines and established protocols Keep accurate and timely clinical notes using EMR systems Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company quality standardsCandidate Requirements Active Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner license At least 1-2 years of clinical NP experience, preferably with geriatric or post-acute populations Experience in wound care settings Strong communication and time-management skills Must have your own reliable transportation and valid driver's licenseRequired Education & Credentials MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) or DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) Board Certification (AANP or ANCC) BLS Certification (current) DEA License (optional but preferred)What We Offer Flexible, low-hour commitment - great for NPs seeking supplemental work Make an impact in your community through mobile care Competitive hourly pay Independence in your clinical decision-makingDiscover Madison, WIMadison blends urban culture with the beauty of Wisconsin's natural landscape.
