Contract Marketing Specialist (90-Day Contract) – Cannabis Dispensary

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Contract Marketing Specialist to join our team for a 90-day engagement at a leading cannabis dispensary. Key Responsibilities • Implement, optimize, and manage our customer loyalty program • Support internal marketing campaigns (in-store promotions, digital initiatives, email/SMS, etc.) • Improve and maintain local SEO for the dispensary (Google Business Profile, on-page SEO, listings, content optimization) • Analyze customer behavior and sales data to guide campaign strategy • Assist with promotional calendar planning and execution • Collaborate with leadership and store staff to ensure alignment between marketing and operations • Ensure all marketing efforts remain compliant with New York State cannabis regulations Required Qualifications • Verifiable experience in marketing (retail, hospitality, or cannabis preferred) • Direct experience with Blaze POS (required – must be able to demonstrate familiarity) • Proven experience implementing or managing loyalty programs • Strong understanding of local SEO and digital visibility • Highly organized, self-directed, and deadline-oriented • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Nice-to-Have • Email/SMS campaign management • Graphic or content coordination experience • Data reporting and analytics skills Contract Details • 90-day contract • Hourly rate: $28–$40/hour, depending on experience • Remote work acceptable • Flexible schedule, but must be responsive during business hours How to Apply Applicants must provide: • Resume • Brief cover letter outlining relevant experience • Examples of past work (if applicable) • Confirmation of Blaze POS experience Job Type: Contract Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
