About Evershine Lighting
Evershine Lighting is a growing exterior and architectural lighting company specializing in permanent lighting systems and residential electrical work. As we expand, we are seeking a Washington-licensed Electrical Administrator to contract with us and serve as our supervising administrator of record.
This is a contract-based role, ideal for an experienced administrator who prefers oversight, permitting, and compliance rather than daily field labor.
The Role (Contract)
As a contracted Electrical Administrator, you will provide licensed supervision and compliance oversight for electrical work performed under Evershine Lighting.
This role is not a field electrician position and does not require daily on-site labor.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the Electrical Administrator of record for Evershine Lighting
Provide licensed supervision for 02 electricians
Pull and oversee electrical permits as required
• Ensure compliance with Washington State electrical codes and regulations
• Review project scopes, installations, and documentation
• Support inspections and resolve compliance issues
• Advise ownership on licensing, compliance, and growth strategy
Qualifications (Required)
• Current Washington State Electrical Administrator license
OR
• WA Journeyman / Master Electrician eligible or near-eligible to serve as Administrator
• Prior experience supervising electrical work
• Strong understanding of residential electrical permitting and inspections
• Ability to operate independently as a contractor
Preferred Experience
• Residential or architectural lighting systems
• Supervisory or administrative electrical roles
• Small business or contractor support experience
Contract Structure & Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor role.
Compensation may be structured as:
• Hourly retainer
• Monthly oversight fee
• Per-project or per-permit compensation
Typical ranges:
• $40–$70/hour, depending on scope and availability
• Growth-based bonuses or long-term incentives available
Contract structure will be tailored to the right candidate.
