Bookkeeper Position
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our accounting team at Harrell Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and providing critical support to the management team.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Maintaining accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger records
Ā Preparing year-end reports for multi-state payroll, including W-2, 941, and State Unemployment tax returns
Ā Coordinating with the accounting firm to prepare reviewed financial statements
Ā Securing certificates of insurance and W-9 information for jobs in progress
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Ā A strong background in bookkeeping and financial administration
Ā High attention to detail and accuracy
Ā A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Ā Proficiency in MS Office 365, including Excel and Outlook
Ā Excellent communication and customer service skills
