Contract Assessor (Early Childhood)
About the Role BSquared Consulting Group LLC is seeking a part-time Contract Assessor with Early Childhood experience and current training or certified reliability in the Environment Rating Scales (ERS), specifically ITERS and FCCERS, to support project work with The Vander Weele Group. This role is Illinois-based and includes frequent in-state travel to conduct observations. Responsibilities • Conduct observational assessments using ITERS-3 and FCCERS-3 to measure program quality. • Enter data in a software system; generate clear, accurate reports from completed observations. • Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development. • Learn and become reliable on additional tools such as HOVRS-3. • Perform additional related tasks as assigned. Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or Early Childhood Education. • Illinois residency required. • Current ERS training or reliability in ITERS-3/ITERS-R and FCCERS-3/FCCERS-R. • Strong knowledge of center-based and family childcare settings. • Experience with web-based compliance software. • Ability to follow multi-step instructions, protect PII, work independently, and meet deadlines. Preferred • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Schedule & Term • Variable workload; estimated 450 total hours. • Approximately 15–20 hours per week on average. • Limited contract through June 30, 2026. Compensation $37 - $40 per hour. Travel reimbursed per project guidelines.
