Project length : ~3–4 weeks Commitment : ≥ 10 hrs / week Compensation : $95 – $230 per hour • Hourly rate may be higher for exceptional candidates About the project Fixpoint is hiring Airline Pilots, Copilots, and Flight Engineers for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Airline Pilots, Copilots, and Flight Engineers. You're a good fit if you have experience with: • Use instrumentation to guide flights when visibility is poor. • Start engines, operate controls, and pilot airplanes to transport passengers, mail, or freight, adhering to flight plans, regulations, and procedures. • Work as part of a flight team with other crew members, especially during takeoffs and landings. • Respond to and report in-flight emergencies and malfunctions. • Inspect aircraft for defects and malfunctions, according to pre-flight checklists. or have similar experience. Must-have qualifications • Have 5+ years full-time work experience • Native-level English skills • U.S. residency • Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet. • Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule). Nice-to-haves • N/A Compensation & logistics • Hourly pay: $95 – $230, commensurate with experience and project fit. • Hourly rate may be higher for exceptional candidates • Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours. • You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will. • Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met.
