How you will make an impact:
Craft educational, engaging articles on insurance topics following writing briefs provided by our editors.
Work with Insurify’s editorial and SEO teams to optimize content for freshness, engagement, and SEO value.
Identify new opportunities to use our proprietary data to inform readers about important insurance-related topics.
Monitor insurance industry media and state insurance departments to identify breaking news that’s relevant to our users, and write news articles based on your research into the topics.
Support cross-functional partners with copywriting for a variety of communication vehicles, from email marketing to press releases, data insights articles and reports, to product pages.
Support and collaborate with the SEO, Product, and Marketing teams for cross-functional projects big and small, including copywriting, editing, and content optimization.
Perform minor editorial tasks when needed...because the grind never stops!
Who you are:
An utter devotion to the written word – you live to write!
Flexibility – you can write about a variety of topics in multiple styles.
Passionate about helping people make better insurance decisions through well-researched, easy-to-understand content.
The skill to juggle multiple, congruent deadlines for a diverse range of products.
Undergraduate degree with relevant coursework (English, Communications, Marketing, etc.), as well as quantitative aptitude.
Top-notch research skills, with the ability and willingness to eventually master all things insurance.
Experience writing, posting, and managing web content in a voice other than your own. Experience at the collegiate level is acceptable.
Willingness to pivot between multiple projects at once.
A team mentality with a solid work ethic. You’re not afraid to take the reins, learn from mistakes, always move forward, and help build the next big thing in insurance!
