About the Role: Content & Repertoire Data Entry Specialist We're seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Content & Repertoire Data Entry Specialist to join our Record Label Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing all music data for release with our record labels, music publishing, and more. This involves inputting music into our distribution sites, collecting and verifying metadata, and proofreading packaging for placement. Key Responsibilities Inputting music data into distribution sites and ensuring accurate metadata Assisting with adding appropriate credits for songs, including artist, songwriter, and producer credits Transcribing, reviewing, editing, and adding song lyrics to our database Utilizing Harry Fox Agency and various Performance Rights Society databases to manage music publishing information Creating, assigning, and placing ISRC codes for each song in our repertoire system Reviewing and proofreading preliminary and final album packaging artwork to ensure accurate credits and metadata Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: A minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry (preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent typing skills and accuracy Familiarity with music industry standards and terminology Ability to work independently in a remote online environment Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Experience working in the music industry or with music metadata Familiarity with Harry Fox Agency and Performance Rights Society databases Knowledge of ISRC coding and music publishing processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Skills and Competencies To excel as a Content & Repertoire Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you'll need: Attention to detail : Ensuring accuracy and quality in data entry and metadata management Organizational skills : Managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Communication skills : Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow Technical skills : Proficiency in data entry software and music industry databases Analytical skills : Identifying and resolving data discrepancies and issues Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
