Position Overview
The Content Migration Specialist plays a vital role in the success of new website implementations by ensuring accurate, efficient, and SEO-friendly content population across CMS platforms. You’ll work alongside project managers, designers, and content strategists to migrate copy, images, and metadata from legacy sites or intake documents into newly developed property websites.
This is a detail-oriented role ideal for someone who understands how websites are structured, enjoys problem-solving, and has a keen eye for clean, accessible content.

Key Responsibilities

Review content migration plans and intake documents to identify required assets and copy.
Populate website content (text, images, alt text, SEO metadata, PDFs, links, etc.) into CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, proprietary CMS, etc.).
Ensure content is placed correctly and follows brand guidelines, accessibility best practices, and SEO recommendations.
Maintain consistency in formatting, styling, and page structure across all migrated pages.
QA migrated content across staging sites to catch typos, broken links, or styling issues.
Collaborate with project managers to track progress, meet launch deadlines, and escalate blockers.
Assist with light content formatting, basic HTML/CSS tweaks, or file optimization when needed.
Optionally: Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to support alt-text creation, meta descriptions, or other content prep tasks.

Requirements

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in content migration, website content entry, or CMS operations.
Familiarity with one or more content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, etc.).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when working with large volumes of content.
Understanding of SEO best practices (title tags, meta descriptions, alt text, etc.).
Working knowledge of website structures, accessibility guidelines (WCAG/ADA), and responsive design considerations.
Comfort using task-tracking tools (e.g., Asana, JIRA, Trello) and content intake tools (e.g., Google Docs, Airtable).
Bonus: Experience using ChatGPT or other generative AI tools for content generation/editing.
Bonus: Familiarity with multifamily or real estate websites is a plus.

What You’ll Bring

A content-first mindset with strong QA instincts.
Ability to self-manage and follow through on tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Curiosity for learning new platforms and evolving best practices.
A collaborative attitude with a passion for building user-friendly, content-rich websites.

Perks of Working With Us

Be part of a growing team defining the future of multifamily digital experiences.
Gain exposure to website design, SEO, and implementation processes.
Work with supportive, experienced professionals who value quality and innovation.
