CBS News is seeking a full-time Content Marketing Writer for its 'MoneyWatch: Managing Your Money' vertical. This role focuses on creating engaging and informative content related to personal finance topics, aiming to drive revenue through clicks and conversions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal finance writing, the ability to produce high-quality content quickly, and experience with affiliate marketing and SEO optimization.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Pitch and write multiple daily personal finance stories based on story performance data and the news cycle

ā¢ Use data to inform MoneyWatch vertical priorities and adjust content decisions
,
ā¢ Optimize headlines and copy for SEO
,
ā¢ Update and maintain a library of existing articles
,
ā¢ Assist the senior editor and managing editor with content planning and calendar management
,
ā¢ Participate in broader strategic discussions with partners
Requirements
ā¢ 3+ years of writing experience, preferably in business, personal finance or affiliate marketing
,
ā¢ Ability to write clean, clear and accurate content on deadline, multiple times daily
,
ā¢ Experienced with interviewing sources for inclusion in articles
,
ā¢ Ability to interpret data and metrics to inform story ideation
,
ā¢ Experienced with affiliate marketing and knowledge of the space
,
ā¢ Business mindset, comfortable using content to generate revenue
