Content Developer, Bar – Part-Time
Job Description: • Develop deep understanding of NextGen Bar Exam requirements, characteristics, NCBE updates, and scoring rubrics • Develop expertise in prompt writing and explanation writing • Create high-quality, test-like NextGen Bar Exam content, especially questions, and explanations • Leverage AI tools (utilizing excellence in prompt-writing skills) and Kaplan platforms for efficiency • Draft, tag, review, and edit items, ensuring alignment with skill/subject/topic criteria, and incorporating feedback • Develop content for institutional courses and programs, incorporating feedback • Contribute to the development and launch of innovative NextGen Bar Exam products, leveraging AI and other cutting-edge technologies • Collaborate effectively across Kaplan • Champion innovation and stay ahead of industry trends • Maintain a customer-centric approach to product development • Ensure NextGen Bar Exam product excellence across all learning resources and services Requirements: • Juris Doctor (JD) • Licensed attorney (retired or inactive acceptable) • Understand the structure, content, and scoring of the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) and Multistate Bar Exam (MBE) • Tech-savvy, self-motivated team player with problem-solving skills • Deep understanding of the subjects tested on the bar exam • 1st time applicants who have never created items are open to apply, experience would be preferred Benefits: • Remote work provides a flexible work/life balance • Our Gift of Knowledge Program provides tuition assistance and substantial discounts for our employees and close family members • Access to health and wellness benefits new hire eligibility starts on day 1 of employment • Access to 401K Savings Plan company match provided after eligibility is met • Generous Paid Time Off includes paid holidays, vacation, personal, sick paid time-off, plus one (1) volunteer day and one (1) diversity and inclusion day to participate and give back to our local communities Apply tot his job
