The ideal candidate is a creative visual storyteller with serious writing chops who is able to produce content to meet marketing goals. You must be a self-starter who possesses strong research, organizational, and analytical skills. Reports to: Director of Marketing and Communications Job Description: • Create, write, edit, and publish high-quality, engaging content for multiple channels, including blog posts, videos, podcasts, social media updates, and marketing materials. • Manage the company’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.). • Plan promotional and educational video shoots, working with internal team members to secure shoot location(s). • Maintain the company’s digital media library. • Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent output of content. • Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics and consumer trends to generate fresh ideas and inform content strategy. • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and social media to increase visibility, engagement, and website traffic. • Monitor content performance using analytics and metrics, and adjust strategies to improve results. • Stay up-to-date with emerging content formats, platforms, and industry best practices. • Perform additional tasks as required. Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field. • Proven experience (2+ years in same position) as a Content Creator, with a strong portfolio showcasing different content types (written, visual, and video). • Solid writing and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Excellent understanding of SEO/AEO principles and digital marketing. • Proficiency using social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress). • Solid experience using graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere, etc.). • Knowledge of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and Hubspot preferred. • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Creative and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
