Content Coordinator / Social Media Assistant
About the Mission:
Every week, a group of volunteers loads up a trailer with food, clothing, and compassion-and heads into the city to serve our homeless neighbors. This is about more than meals. It’s about showing up, listening, praying, and reminding people they’re not invisible.
We’ve been documenting these trips with raw, real footage. Now we need someone to help turn that footage into content that moves people-content that shows the world there is still good happening and invites others to be part of it.
This is for someone who wants to do more than scroll past the pain in the world. It’s for someone who believes storytelling can inspire action. You’ll help us shine a light on hope, community, and the quiet work of love.
What You’ll Own: You’ll be the point person for all organic content.
That includes:
- Day-in-the-life videos
- Short social clips
- Volunteer highlight videos
- Candid photos and behind-the-scenes snapshots
- Emotional and inspiring moments from the street
What You’ll Do:
- Review new footage each week
- Choose 2–4 powerful clips or photo's of each type s to post
- Write short, heartfelt captions that give context and inspire action
- Tag volunteers, donors, and partners (from a running list you manage)
- Upload and schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
- Keep a simple content calendar updated
Optional: Reply to comments or flag meaningful ones to reshare
What We’re Looking For:
- Comfortable using Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and TikTok
- Experience using AI video editing tools like CapCut, Descript, Submagic, or Captions.ai
- Basic photo editing or Canva for simple graphic posts
- Comfortable trimming and formatting short-form videos (Reels/Shorts)
- Organized and consistent with file management and scheduling
- Strong, soulful writing voice - humble, real, and uplifting

~ 3- 5 hours/week, flexible schedule. Room to grow.
