Back To Openings Contemporary Antisemitism Initiative Intern Department: Program Delivery & Content Development Location: US Based Home Office START YOUR APPLICATION Description of project: The Contemporary Antisemitism Initiative is eager to review the materials produced within the first 5 years of the initiative, identify resources for revision, marking segments of materials that can be used on the website, and connecting to needs of secondary educators. Qualifications and/or Skills: Project management (timelines, documentation, and presentation skills). Background/Interest in antisemitism studies. Estimated time commitment: 1 day/wk; 1-3 months; PT or FT - this is a summer project for our team A Description of Facing History & Ourselves' Summer Internship Program Internships at Facing History & Ourselves are a mixture of core projects and administrative support. Interns are paired with direct supervisors and the intern is assigned projects based on the need of Facing History and the individual supervisor, and the Intern�s interests. Across the board, learning opportunities are provided that expose participants to Facing History content and teaching approach. Please explore our website to learn more about us. We provide orientation, regular check-ins, an opportunity to connect with other Interns and Volunteers, participation in staff meetings and social events, exposure to our core work, access to our resources, networking sessions with staff, and time with our President and CEO. At the end of the summer we have a small gathering to present on the projects completed over the summer. We expect the intern to follow a consistent schedule, work 2-5 days per week between 9am and 5pm, work diligently, and ask questions and request new projects when appropriate. Professional etiquette is expected. You will be asked to read and abide by our Anti-Harassment and Youth Protection Policies as well as our Data Security Policy, Acceptable Use & Written Information Security Policies. All internships are remote unless other arrangements are made. Interns are gifted with a Facing History resource of their choice and may be loaned a computer for use during the internship.
