Consumer Marketing Summer Intern

Support integrated consumer marketing strategies and campaigns for Cox Automotive’s leading brands in a hybrid, full-time internship role. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Support the development of short- and long-term consumer marketing strategies aligned with business objectives; define KPIs and monitor progress. • Identify growth opportunities through market, competitive, and customer insights; translate findings into clear recommendations. • Partner with Consumer Media to build full-funnel plans (awareness → consideration → conversion → retention) supporting brand and business goals. • Work with teams across Media, Creative, MarTech, Product, and external agencies to ensure cohesive execution. • Help build a pipeline of disruptive ideas and “test & learn” pilots; stay ahead of industry and competitive trends to drive continuous improvement. About You The company is looking for: • Knowledge in formulating marketing strategy, product marketing, or integrated media planning. • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting to leadership. • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with strong prioritization and project management skills. • Experience working with or at external media or creative agencies is a plus. • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Compensation & Benefits • Hourly base pay rate of $21.49 - $32.26/hour, varying by location and candidate qualifications. • Potential eligibility for additional compensation including commission and/or incentive programs. • Health care insurance (medical, dental, vision). • Retirement planning (401(k)). • Paid days off including sick leave, parental leave, flexible vacation/wellness days, and/or PTO. Career Progression Interns may be considered for full-time positions following the internship, contingent upon graduation and business needs.
