They are seeking a Consumer Loan Member Service Representative responsible for processing loan applications and providing excellent service to members and dealer partners.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for processing loan applications and preparing and disbursing loan closing documents in an efficient and timely mannerPerform various duties associated with reviewing, processing, and funding Direct and Indirect loan applicationsReview and analyze loan application documentation to determine loan integrity and validity, of loan applications and packages prior to fundingFollow appropriate procedures and guidelines to limit risk exposureReview exceptions and escalate to supervisors when necessaryBook loans to host system and provide timely funding to members and dealer partnersPrepare and disburse thorough and accurate loan closing documentsFollow up on call backs in order to finalize loansProvide timely and accurate information on the Credit Union's loan programs, as well as prompt, courteous, and professional service to members, branch staff, and dealer partnersPromptly answer calls presented to the Consumer Loan queues and meet performance expectations including, average handle time, schedule adherence, and calls takenAchieve monthly sales goals and referrals by identifying members' needs and making appropriate referrals to cultivate a strong membershipPerform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s)SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent1-3 years of related experience preferably in a Financial InstitutionAbility to read and understand credit bureau reportsPrevious experience working in a Call Center environmentCompany OverviewDCU is a credit union that offers personal and business banking solutions.
