Consulting Lead - SAP Finance & Group Reporting
We are seeking a Consulting Lead - SAP Finance & Group Reporting to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Group Reporting solutions for global clients. This role requires a strong balance of core SAP Finance expertise and hands-on Group Reporting experience, partnering closely with finance leadership, accounting teams, and project stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable, and business-aligned solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance and Group Reporting implementations
ā¢ Drive requirement gathering and solution design across Record-to-Report (R2R), including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Financial Close
ā¢ Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, including:
ā¢ Consolidation units and groups
ā¢ Ownership management and consolidation methods
ā¢ Intercompany matching and eliminations
ā¢ Currency translation and validation rules
ā¢ Ensure tight integration between operational finance (FI) and group consolidation and reporting processes
ā¢ Act as a trusted advisor to finance, accounting, and controllership stakeholders
ā¢ Lead client workshops, blueprinting sessions, and design reviews covering both FI and Group Reporting
ā¢ Provide functional leadership and mentoring to consultants and offshore delivery teams
ā¢ Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) with a focus on financial accuracy and reconciliation
ā¢ Assist with cutover, go-live, and hypercare, ensuring smooth period-end and consolidation cycles
ā¢ Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution architecture, RFP responses, estimations, and demonstrations
Qualifications & Skills:
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Financial Close)
ā¢ Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, including consolidation and statutory reporting
ā¢ Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, consolidation logic, and multi-currency environments
ā¢ SAP S/4HANA Finance certification(s) preferred
ā¢ Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and/or Reporting is a plus
ā¢ Experience in pre-sales, RFPs, and client solution demonstrations
ā¢ Ability to bridge business finance requirements with system design
ā¢ Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
ā¢ Experience working with global, multi-entity organizations and distributed delivery models
