Consultant, Business Controls
Job Description: • Partner with first line of defense teams in CAO to enable effective risk management • Conduct risk assessments to identify and measure applicable risks • Support CIRA process and assist CAO business sponsors • Identify and document risks and control gaps • Work with management to assess root cause and identify action plans • Contribute to identification and maintenance of controls owned/executed by CAO • Participate in annual refresh of Risk Appetite Statement and metrics • Act as risk and controls Subject Matter Expert (SME) • Serve as liaison for testing and examinations • Cultivate relationships with CAO management and Governance & Controls teams. Requirements: • 3-5 years of experience in compliance, operational risk, audit, or finance • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business or Management • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills • Ability to articulate complex issues concisely • Relationship building and stakeholder management skills • Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets • Strong initiative, energy and confidence completing projects with limited supervision.
