Job Description
Scheduling
ā¢ The Commercial Construction Superintendent shall work in partnership with the Project Manager for creating, updating, maintaining, and managing all the schedules for the project.
ā¢ Ability to create a Master Project Schedule with comprehension of required construction activities and logic sequencing.
ā¢ Perform daily inspection of units and prepare, maintain, and distribute the three-week schedule for Owner/subcontractors and suppliers.
Onsite Management
ā¢ Directly responsible for supervising all on-site project sub-contractors.
ā¢ Must act as a quality control representative to monitor and ensure the correction of any deficient workmanship and/or below-quality work.
ā¢ Act as mediator for subcontractor/supplier and staff-related issues.
ā¢ Administer first aid when necessary.
ā¢ Approve material requests and delivery.
ā¢ Assists Project Manager by overseeing the field construction processes.
ā¢ Walk with 3rd party inspections (i.e. geo-tech, structural engineer, fireproofing consultant) for activities directly supervised.
ā¢ Report deficiencies, problems, and delays to project manager.
ā¢ Responsible for the walk-through inspection ensuring passage from local municipal inspectors.

ā¢ 5-15 years of relevant tilt wall construction experience
ā¢ Experience as a superintendent on projects north of 100,000 SQFT
ā¢ Proven experience managing projects successfully from start to finish
ā¢ Team leader with effective communication skills
