Construction Helper Gill Construction Nolanville, TX | Full-Time / Hourly | Onsite Position Overview Gill Construction is looking for a dependable Construction Helper to join our team. This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to learn the trades and gain real jobsite experience. You'll work alongside experienced carpenters and trades, helping keep projects moving and learning how residential remodeling projects are built from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Assist carpenters, trades, and supervisors with jobsite tasks Load, unload, and move materials and equipment Maintain a clean and organized jobsite Assist with demolition and basic construction tasks Support remodeling and new construction activities Follow safety guidelines and company procedures Use basic hand and power tools as directed Perform general labor duties as needed Qualifications No prior construction experience required (experience is a plus) Willingness to learn and take direction Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Ability to lift and carry materials Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Reliable transportation to job sites Compensation & Benefits Starting pay at $15/hour based on experience Opportunity for pay increases based on performance and skill development Hands-on training and skill development Opportunity for career growth within the company Consistent project pipeline Work Environment Work will take place on active residential construction and remodeling job sites and may include working outdoors in various weather conditions.
