Concierge (Part-Time) – Bakersfield
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional part-time Concierge to join our team at The Hyatt Regency, a globally recognized leader in hospitality. This is a part-time job opportunity, requiring under 4 hours per day of work. Job Description:
As a Concierge at The Hyatt Regency Bakersfield, you will play a critical role in providing superior customer service to our guests and clients. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, managing all interactions with professionalism and courtesy. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for customer service and enjoy providing a memorable experience for clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the hotel
2. Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
3. Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
4. Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
5. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
6. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
Requirements:
1. Proven work experience as a Concierge, Receptionist, or similar role
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
3. Professional attitude and appearance
4. Solid written and verbal communication skills
5. Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
6. Excellent organizational skills
7. Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
8. High school degree
