About the role Concept Plus is seeking a Computer Engineer III to provide advanced engineering, integration, and technical support for the sustainment and modernization of client clinical information systems. This role focuses on ensuring secure, reliable, and mission-ready health IT solutions for military operations. What you'll do Lead the design, development, and integration of complex software and hardware solutions for client clinical information systems. Perform advanced systems engineering, requirements analysis, architecture design, and technical oversight for client projects. Oversee the implementation and enforcement of cybersecurity controls in accordance with client standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimize system performance, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and security protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver training, release management, and reporting solutions. Provide subject matter expertise in privacy protection, secure data management, and lifecycle support for IM/IT systems Qualifications US Citizenship Active Secret Government Clearance Master’s degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems, Computer Science or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science. Bachelors degree okay with additional experience 7 years of experience (or 11 years with bachelor’s degree) Must have, or be working towards achieving within 18 months Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) certification -OR- can substitute with a vendor/platform specific certification: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Applicables Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud certifications, etc. Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years of technical experience in support of Engineering, Systems Analysis, Medical Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management, to include: Systems/Equipment Support Test and Evaluation support of C4ISR requirements. One (1) year of technical experience in support of Information assurance/network protection or virtualization projects. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
