About the Role
The Compliance Education Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering high-quality training and consulting services to customers. You will conduct presentations, perform on-site evaluations, and provide expert guidance to ensure customers meet compliance standards.
Responsibilities
Provide on-site services, including PowerPoint presentations, OSHA site evaluations, and HIPAA gap analysis.
Manage assigned territory and company expenses, such as travel and accommodations.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email to resolve compliance questions.
Utilize electronic technology to deliver on-site visits and upload customer documents promptly.
Stay up-to-date with bloodborne pathogens, OSHA, HIPAA, and HazCom regulations to maintain competency.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment.
Completion of 30-hour online OSHA training required within the first 6 weeks of employment.
Completion of HIPAA certification at a later date upon joining the team.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
Ability to build sound relationships with customers through open communication.
Strong decision-making skills considering facts and organizational resources.
Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple activities effectively.
