Compensation Specialist/Analyst
Role serves as part of MEI's Corporate Administration within the HR department. Position supports regional office locations with specific support for compensation programs and administration.
⢠Manage and facilitate compensation software for MEI
⢠Assist in development of companywide compensation programs & matrices
⢠Lead compensation program and provide direction to others, as needed, in managing the day-to-day compensation needs of MEI
⢠Provide support and guidance to HR, regional office management, and other staff on compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures
⢠Manage and administer set ups of approved new or changes to existing compensation plans within HRMS
⢠Keep apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance
⢠Work on problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
⢠Position will require minimal travel to regional offices as needed, such as for compensation program implementation
Minimum Qualifications
⢠Bachelor's degree o combination of education and 8 years of experience in lieu of a four-year degree. Type of degree preferred in HR, Business Administration, finance or related field
⢠Minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources at a specialist level or higher
⢠Minimum of 3 years' experience working within HRMS systems
⢠Minimum of 3 years' experience with compensation program development, implementation and administration
⢠Minimum of 1 years' experience with compensation benchmarking processes and administration
⢠Must confidently demonstrate conduct that reflects MEI's Mission and Values as well as appropriate levels of discretion and confidentiality
⢠Excellent interpersonal communication (written, verbal and presentation), facilitation, project management and integration skills
⢠Solid understanding of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, and accurate grammatical structure. Must be able to keep records legibly, in English
⢠Demonstrated abilities to work as a professional, in a multi-site, multi-state organization
⢠Possess positive and professional demeanor in support of company human resources and MEI culture
⢠Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications and HRMS software, preferably ADP
This position is a full-time remote position and most work will be performed in a home office setting. Position will frequently use a computer, keyboard/mouse, cellular telephone, and regular business office equipment. Work will involve extended work at a computer terminal and working in a seated position. Occasional standing or walking and lifing/moving items weighing up to 10 pounds.
