Key Responsibilities
Ā Develop and implement tailored online teaching strategies to support students with learning disabilities, ensuring an engaging and inclusive learning experience.
Ā Create and manage individualized education programs (IEPs) and digital learning plans that address each student's specific needs and goals.
Ā Deliver specialized instruction in core academic areas, adapting content to meet students where they are.
Ā Administer and analyze virtual assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
Ā Collaborate with general education teachers to design and implement appropriate accommodations and modifications for students.
Ā Maintain open and ongoing communication with students and their families, providing updates on progress and addressing concerns.
Ā Participate actively in virtual staff meetings and professional learning communities, staying up-to-date on best practices in special education.
Qualifications
Ā Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree preferred).
Ā Valid teaching license with an endorsement in learning disabilities.
Ā Minimum of 2 years of experience working in special education.
Ā Proficiency in assistive technology and virtual learning platforms.
Ā Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ā Ability to differentiate instruction in an online setting.
