Job Description:
As a Company Fleet Driver, you will be responsible for operating and managing the upkeep of the FedEx vehicle fleet. This includes a role in creating safe and efficient routes, ensuring timely delivery of packages, keeping the fleet vehicles in good condition, and adhering to all transportation laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate and maintain company vehicles
– Create efficient delivery routes
– Ensure timely delivery of packages
– Adhere to all transportation laws and regulations
– Report any accidents or injuries to Supervisors immediately
– Manage routine inspection and maintenance of the vehicle
– Load and unload packages from vehicles as needed
– Help with vehicle purchasing and registration activities
Requirements:
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Valid and clean driving record
– A minimum of 2 years driving experience
– Excellent navigational skills
– Ability to lift heavy packages
– Exceptional customer service skills
– Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
– Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
