The Community Specialist plays a crucial role in executing the store's community strategy, which involves engaging with the local community through relationship building, events, and various activities. This position is pivotal in supporting lululemon's product seeding initiatives and attending local studios to foster connections. The Community Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships with lululemon Ambassadors and other influential community partners, ensuring that these relationships provide synergistic value to the store and the community at large. In this role, the Community Specialist will collaborate closely with store leadership to bring the community strategy to life, focusing on community foundations and enhancing the guest experience. They will establish and manage local key relationships, such as with Ambassadors and studio owners, to drive new guest acquisition and retention. Engaging with the local community is essential to identify future Ambassador or partner opportunities, thereby increasing the store's reputation as a community hub. The Community Specialist will also connect with guests on the sales floor, assessing their unique needs, providing technical product education, and ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience. Additionally, the Community Specialist will attend, support, and host local and regional community events, execute the product seeding strategy through community partners and Ambassadors, and analyze community-related business data to provide insights and recommendations to store leadership. This role requires a commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive team environment, celebrating differences, and ensuring a supportive and productive experience for all team members.

Responsibilities

Requirements
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located.

• 1 year of cumulative experience in customer service, grassroots marketing, brand engagement, or community building.

Nice-to-haves
• High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.

• Experience in building or maintaining relationships with clients, groups, or partners.

• Experience in motivating team members to accomplish goals or activities.
