Community Relations Trainee/Graduate (Cooma, Australia)
The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0 . This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history. The purpose of this position is to support the Senior Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager and the broader team with communication deliverables, including drafting communication content, event support and in updating intranet with accurate information Main Duties / Responsibilities Support team meeting set up and organisation for weekly meetings Issue reminders to team for reporting requirements Draft content for use in external communications and use initiative in seeking out opportunities to support team Management of Cooma office notice boards and content update Intranet support as directed by business engagement lead Management of ordering requests for team Learning opportunities as a graduate to get involved in supporting comms planning and engagement initiatives Company Requirements Ability to take direction from other team members Ability to develop relationships with team and functional stakeholders Strong writing skills with the ability to quickly learn and adopt our brand tone of voice Sound time-management, problem-solving and people skills with ability to work as part of team Inquisitive analytical skills, combined with the ability to learn, adapt and innovate The ability to work on multiple projects and prioritise time, and understand risk and project needs in a fast-paced environment Qualifications: Experience Technical proficiency in online platforms (E.g.
