Tired of long days in the hospital or clinic?Join a team where you can help older Australians stay safe, happy and healthy living in their own homes.  A Registered Nurse role at Silverchain can offer you the refreshing change you’ve been looking for.What’s on offerWork independently in the community, with support from your team.Monday to Friday 9am-5pm roles, with no weekend work.Enhance your clinical skills and support a diverse range of clients in their homes.Feel appreciated and valued by your clients.Be part of a hardworking, caring team who support each other.Competitive salary - with up to $18,550 tax-free salary packaging options.What we’re looking for To be considered for this role, you will need the following:Degree or postgraduate qualification in nursing.2+ years post-graduate, with broad experience in general/community nursing.Current Registration with the AHPRA, with zero notations.Genuine interest in working in the community and with the aged population (experience an advantage).Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach.Strong experience in wound and catheter care, and chronic disease management.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with families and other clinicians.Australian driver's licence.The roleProvide services such as wound, catheter, stoma and bowel care. Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8 am - 4pm in the Penrith Region. Apply advanced clinical assessment skills for chronic disease management. Administer medications and injections. Perform an optimum standard of nursing care to our clients. Use your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities to provide an optimum standard of care to our clients. Why choose SilverchainEveryone at Silverchain, from our care teams to leadership, plays a vital role in delivering Best Care.
