Key Responsibilities

As the Finance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Executive Director and executive leadership team to formulate and implement financial strategies that ensure organizational sustainability and growth.
• Comprehensive Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow management, reporting, and compliance with auditing standards.
• Partnership Development: Cultivate and sustain relationships with financial stakeholders, including funders, investors, and government entities.
• System Enhancement: Leverage IT systems and manage external vendors to optimize operations related to fundraising and financial management.
• Financial Integrity: Maintain compliance and safeguard organizational assets through robust internal controls and oversight of financial practices.

Required Skills

Candidates should possess the following skills:
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and nonprofit tax regulations.
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow oversight.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication capabilities.

• Proficiency in financial software, particularly Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks and Salesforce is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
