Community & Content Manager for Hospitality Focused Group
We're seeking a passionate Community & Content Manager to engage and grow our hospitality-focused group. The ideal candidate will have a knack for creating compelling content and managing social media platforms. Responsibilities include developing content strategies, moderating discussions, and fostering a positive community atmosphere. Scope of Work:
1. Branding & Setup
Finalize brand assets (logo, color palette, Canva templates).
Secure domain, set up branded email, and social handles.
Create a branded landing page with RSVP form and email list integration.
2. Content Creation
Design and schedule promotional graphics and posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and email.
Create monthly discussion guides and recap PDFs for book club sessions.
Write copy for meeting invites, reminder emails, and follow-up sequences.
3. Community Engagement
Post polls, challenges, and discussion prompts in our 700+ member Facebook group.
Encourage members to share their takeaways and photos.
Moderate group activity and respond to comments to boost engagement.
4. Event Coordination
Schedule and host virtual book club sessions (via Zoom or similar).
Manage RSVPs, send reminders, and provide replay links.
Assist with planning quarterly in-person meetups and integrating with our host retreat.
5. Lead Generation
Strategically integrate our property management, coaching, and speaking services into book club activities.
Track participation, leads, and engagement metrics.
Suggest upsell opportunities for future paid tiers.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in online community management, event coordination, and content marketing.
Strong graphic design skills (Canva preferred).
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Experience in hospitality, STR/MTR hosting, or related industries is a huge plus.
Familiarity with platforms like Facebook Groups, Zoom, StreamYard, ConvertKit/MailerLite, and Eventbrite.
Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality work.
