Communications Specialist, MSP
Job Description: • Executing communications strategies that build awareness and trust with the global MSP community • Partner with PR agencies to secure earned media placements in MSP, IT channel, and tech industry outlets • Draft compelling press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content • Manage and expand relationships with industry influencers and media • Support a steady drumbeat of news, product updates, customer success stories, and executive commentary for the MSP audience • Support company spokespeople with messaging, media prep, written communication, and more • Support the larger Corporate Communications team on cross-functional initiatives, including reporting • Other duties as needed Requirements: • 2-4 years of experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth B2B tech environment and/or B2B tech Public Relations agency • An understanding of and appreciation for the MSP community and the unique challenges this market faces • Experience working with channel and MSP press • Outstanding writer and speaker who can simplify complex technology into relatable, concise messaging • Self-motivated learner with a commitment to high standards and rapid skill development • Proven ability to drive initiatives through cross-functional teamwork • Preferred BA/BS Degree in any field – we value diversity!
