Job Description: We are seeking a versatile Engineer or Architect, with experience in the commercial real estate sector, to join our team. This role offers diverse responsibilities, ranging from hands-on field assessments to participating in strategic business development. Responsibilities: • Travel nationwide to perform Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) for commercial real estate properties. • Perform design review and construction observation for new developments. • Assist in business development efforts to expand our client base and build long-term relationships. • Review various project deliverables as part of H&C’s QA/QC process to ensure quality and accuracy. • Manage capital improvement projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. • Collaborate with other members of H&C to deliver exceptional results for clients. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in engineering or architecture, preferably in a commercial real estate setting • Strong technical knowledge with a focus on property condition assessments, construction processes, and capital project management. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical information to clients and stakeholders. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines. • Business development and client relationship experience is a plus. • Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA/AIA) license is preferred.
