Position Summary
The Commercial Property Manager β Business Development is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of a portfolio of commercial properties, including (fill in with details like office, retail, and/or industrial) assets. In addition to operational responsibilities, this individual will play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities, particularly third-party property management contracts.

Key Responsibilities
Property Management (Approximately 70%)
β Oversee daily operations of assigned properties, including maintenance, vendor coordination, budgeting, and tenant relations.
β Ensure compliance with lease agreements and applicable laws and regulations.
β Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and capital improvement plans.
β Monitor rent collections and coordinate with accounting on financial reporting.
β Conduct regular property inspections and ensure all preventative maintenance is completed on schedule.
β Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring a high level of customer service.
Business Development (Approximately 30%)
β Identify and pursue new business opportunities for third-party property management services.
β Build relationships with property owners, developers, and brokers to generate referrals and partnerships.
β Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and management agreements for prospective clients.
β Attend industry networking events and represent the firm in the commercial real estate community.
β Collaborate with leadership to set annual business development goals and track performance metrics.

Qualifications
β 7+ years of experience in commercial property management (office, retail, and/or industrial preferred).
β Proven ability to manage multiple properties and deliver operational excellence.
β Experience or strong interest in business development and client-facing interactions.
β Solid understanding of property financials, budgets, and CAM reconciliations.
β Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
β Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who takes initiative and works independently.
β Bachelorβs degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
β CPM, RPA, or real estate license a plus.
