Commercial Loan Officer SUMMARY: A local banking branch is looking for someone that is self-motivated and a background in commercial lending experience. The Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for developing new business, underwriting, structuring and the closing of commercial loans, as well as maintaining and servicing an existing portfolio.

Commercial Loan Officer RESPONSIBILITIES
Ā The Commercial Loan Officer evaluates needs of potential clients and offer appropriate financial products, services, and loans
Ā Promote and cross-sell other products and services as appropriate to client requirements
Ā Provide ongoing relationship servicing with current clients to maintain goodwill and gain additional business
Ā Generate new business to meet annual growth goals
Ā Prepare and compile client information to open new accounts
Ā Gather and analyze financial data to assist in determining the credit worthiness of potential clients for risk and underwriting purposes
Ā Prepare loan memos and documents to submit for loan approval
Ā Ensure completeness and accuracy of loan documentation
Commercial Loan Officer QUALIFICATIONS
Ā 5+ years in CRE and/or C&I lending
Ā Able to do own underwriting/analysis
Ā Business development mindset
Ā Bachelor's degree in related field or financial services preferred
Ā Experience working directly with customers at all levels, from support staff to business owners and managers
Ā Excellent communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by previous experience interacting with decision makers and influencers
Ā Ability to prepare/coordinate proposals, review proposals for accuracy and work productively through the underwriting process
Ā Ability to stay organized and multi-task
