Commercial Insurance Account Technician

The Commercial Insurance Account Technician role involves supporting internal teams in servicing accounts, underwriting products, and maintaining effective client relationships. Responsibilities Provide support to internal Commercial Lines teams in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing accounts by underwriting all company products against Epic data Prepare policies and product for delivery to insured and invoicing; prepare summaries according to guidelines include a check policy and agency management system for accuracy Refer gaps in coverage and other account deficiencies to account manager Resolve coverage/pricing discrepancies with insurance company Process binder bills/deposit bills and signed finance agreements with deposits Maintain effective working relationships with current and prospective clients, producers, company and agency associates Identify cross sell, account round, and up-sell opportunities refer gaps in coverage and other account deficiencies to account manager Expand and grow in your role when supporting miscellaneous duties as requested Skills At least one-year insurance experience in account servicing Property/Casualty License (all lines) Relevant knowledge of insurance products, documents and usages Word and Excel skills are a must Ability to work well independently and on a team Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills Open to continuing education Positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment A passion to achieve results, and the resourcefulness to do so A passion to make customers and coworkers feel important and valued Capability to work quickly and efficiently Methodical, yet swift decision-making skills Precise communication skills, verbal and written, even under time constraints Applied/EPIC experience is preferred College degree preferred Benefits Competitive salary and referral bonuses!
