And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.In this Commercial Customer Master Data and Segmentation position within our Capsule & Health Ingredients (CHI) business unit you will be responsible for owning the accuracy, integrity, and execution of customer master data and segmentation across systems, ensuring a reliable, up-to-date, and business-ready data foundation that enables effective commercial operationsThe position is available remotely from the US, France, Germany, Belgium, India.What you will get:A remote opportunityAn agile career and dynamic working cultureAn inclusive and ethical workplaceCompensation programs that recognize high performanceA variety of benefits dependent on role and locationWhat you will do:Own and manage commercial customer master data across core systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clear hierarchy structures.Maintain high data quality standards through governance, audits, and issue resolution, acting as the main escalation point for data-related problems.Lead the application and ongoing refresh of customer segmentation models, ensuring all accounts are correctly classified and consistently tagged.Source, validate, and manage internal and external data inputs to support segmentation accuracy and business insights.Ensure segmentation is reliably implemented across systems, resolving exceptions and preventing inconsistencies or unauthorized changes.Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Analytics, Sales Ops, IT) to enforce data governance standards and enable effective commercial execution.Drive continuous improvement by optimizing data processes, reducing manual effort, and enhancing documentation, scalability, and downstream usabilityWhat you will bring:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in data science, analytics or ITProven track record in Commercial Data Management, Customer Segmentation, and AnalyticsFamiliarity with CRM and Master Data Systems, particularly Salesforce and SAPBusiness proficient English is essential for the position, additional languages are a plus, but not requiredEvery day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
