Contract Opportunity – Commercial Auto Claims Examiner (Remote)
We are actively hiring an experienced Commercial Auto Liability Claims Examiner with an active New York Adjuster License for a fully remote contract assignment. This role is ideal for experienced adjusters finishing a current contract, recently completed an assignment, or seeking their next remote claims opportunity.
You will manage Commercial Auto liability claims independently, including litigated files, working with an established and supportive claims team.
This assignment offers consistent claim volume, strong operational support, and the potential for extension.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Handle Commercial Auto Liability claims from first notice through final resolution
• Investigate liability, review coverage, and evaluate claim exposure
• Establish and manage reserves based on claim development
• Handle litigated claims and work directly with defense counsel
• Review policies, endorsements, and vehicle schedules
• Coordinate with investigators, attorneys, and vendors
• Maintain organized and timely file documentation
• Provide claim evaluations and settlement recommendations
• Manage your caseload independently in a remote environment
What You Bring
• Active New York Adjuster License (Required)
• 5+ years Commercial Auto Liability Claims experience
• Experience handling litigated claims
• Prior experience with carriers, TPAs, or independent adjusting firms
• Ability to manage claims independently with minimal supervision
• Strong coverage analysis and liability evaluation skills
• Experience working remote in a contract or independent environment preferred
