Comedy Scriptwriter / Producer for Political Satire YouTube Series

We’re looking for a talented scriptwriter and creative producer with a strong understanding of American politics and a natural gift for comedy, parody, and storytelling. Our YouTube channel produces funny, animated political stories featuring characters like Trump, Biden, Kamala, and others, all presented in a fantasy/satirical world similar to South Park You’ll be responsible for writing original, creative, and cohesive stories that: •Are funny, fast-paced, and character-driven • Flow logically while still being over-the-top and absurd • Include specific visual or animated moments for our animators to create (for example: “Trump dramatically slams his juice box on the table,” or “Kamala throws a fit”) ________________________________________ Responsibilities: • Develop 5–10 minute scripts with strong comedic pacing and structure • Pitch creative story ideas that blend real-world political context with parody and satire • Include scene-by-scene animation notes or comedic beats for visual direction • Collaborate with the production team to refine dialogue, humor, and timing • Ensure all content remains entertaining, witty, and politically balanced (no extreme bias) ________________________________________ Requirements: • Must reside in the United States • Deep understanding of American political figures, news, and culture • Proven experience writing comedy, parody, or political sketches • Strong sense of timing, character voice/cadence, and narrative flow • Ability to think cinematically — writing stories that are easy to visualize and animate • Must be very familiar with Donald Trump ________________________________________ What We Provide: • Clear story concepts or themes to build from • Ongoing collaboration — this is a long-term creative partnership ________________________________________ Compensation: • Competitive pay per script (based on length and quality) • Consistent ongoing work for the right writer ________________________________________ Apply tot his job
