Delta Gamma has more... than 250,000 initiated members, 150 collegiate chapters and more than 200 alumnae groups. Delta Gamma Executive Offices is in Columbus, Ohio.

We are looking for an exempt, full-time collegiate success specialist. This is a new position created to round out our team and is remote eligible.

Job Summary:
• To act as a liaison between Executive Offices and various University administrators, including Deans of Students and Panhellenic/Fraternity/Sorority Advisors to foster strong professional relationships.
• To serve as an integral part of the collegiate development program to direct, assess and improve chapter efforts, working confidentially with the Council Trustee: Collegians, Fraternity Directors, Director of Member Services, Member Services team, regional teams and other Executive Offices staff.
• To supervise the external operations of collegiate chapters and respond to chapter incidents in assigned regions.
• To assist with the management of collegiate new chapter growth in assigned regions.
• To build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Executive Offices staff, Council, Fraternity Directors, regional teams, collegians, alumnae and advisers.
• To provide education in the areas of goal setting, problem solving, group dynamics and fundamental leadership to collegiate officers and volunteers.
• To perform assigned duties in conformity with the Constitution and policies of the Delta Gamma Fraternity and Foundation

Chapter Essential Functions: 70%
• Educate members, new members, and advisers (as necessary) about leadership skills, Delta Gamma procedures, risk management best practices, and personal and chapter development.
• Develop relationships with the collegiate chapters and regional teams assigned.
• Recognize, diagnose problems, and facilitate solutions to chapter concerns/problems.
• Participate as a resource member of various Fraternity teams such as extension, crisis management, chapter incident, status and action plan support teams, etc., as requested.
• Provides support for Fraternity support programs resulting from a Chapter Incident, such as Anchoring Team Visits and Article II Alignment Conversations.
• Executes Chapter Closures, as needed.
• Serve as the initial resource for family and parent outreach.
• Assists in the responsibilities of extension opportunities and any resulting establishments/re-establishments of collegiate chapters in assigned regions.
• Assess risk management patterns and develop intervention strategies for chapters demonstrating risky behaviors or experiencing a crisis situation, in an attempt to prevent crises from reoccurring, and inform Fraternity-wide prevention efforts.
• Provide education on various member status change processes including resignations, expulsions, early alumnae status, transfer forms and fifth year alumnae status, and develop strategies to improve member retention.
• Respond to questions and problems regarding general Fraternity procedures and issues, such as Anchorbase, roster changes, reporting, and/or collegiate concerns.
• Support vision of Council, especially Fraternity Council Trustees: Collegians. Enforce Statement of Obligation, the Fraternity Constitution, and all policies and procedures.
• Assist Senior Collegiate Development Specialists in tracking of collegiate chapter trends and resource development
• Contribute to curriculum development and serve as a facilitator for national events, as requested, in collaboration with the training, development and member experience team.
• Monitor chapters in assigned regions and collaborate with regional teams for chapter development and improvement.
• Travel to provide education, intervention, or assistance to collegiate chapters or for extension related assistance, as necessary (approximately 20-40% of time).

Social Skill Development and Leadership Functions: 30%
• Educate and develop strategic thinking, collaborative and ethical decision making, conflict resolution skills, confidence, values awareness and alignment, social skills, and motivational skills.
• Maintain a portfolio of chapters while participating one on one each semester for those chapter presidents educating on SMART goals, reviewing those goals, and assessing progress.
• Serve as the primary leader of action planning calls for chapters who have been identified as Revitalization-Poor standing. Facilitate dialogue with CMT officers and Advisory Team members around setting goals, identifying progress markers, working through barriers and adversity, and celebrating achievements. This role will coach and empower chapter officers and directors.
• Assist with the delivery of Foundation funded programs such as Human Dignity Workshop, Alcohol Skills Training Program (ASTP), and other new initiatives as they become available.

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive environments where belonging is valued
• Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s Degree or advanced work in or demonstrated understanding of student development theory and college administration preferred.
• Membership in Delta Gamma Fraternity desired.
• Knowledge of Delta Gamma Fraternity and ability to interface with various publics including volunteer leadership and college administrators.
• Excellent customer service, assertiveness, leadership, problem-solving, communication skills, organizational skills, and facilitation skills.
• Experience as a collegiate chapter officer and/or with campus leadership involvement (i.e. student government, Panhellenic leadership, campus organization officer, etc.).
• Ability to travel 20-40%.
