College Student -Creative Communications - Animation
The primary purpose of the Strategic Communications, motion designer position is to learn about healthcare strategic communications and to support the team with the creation of animated graphics and visual effects for videos for MD Anderson that adhere to the institution's brand and visual identity.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1. Graphic illustration and animation production in support of organizational communication initiatives: Under the direction and supervision of Creative Communications professionals, attends planning meetings, develops creative concepts and storyboards/scripts, illustrates/designs, edits, and produces promotional and educational motion graphics for use on social media platforms, websites and in videos. Incorporates learnings related to best practices and institutional branding.
2. Creative Presentation: Identify and complete a presentation summarizing the findings of a creative animation project. The project may be self-originated or assigned, based on agreement with supervisor.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Required: Must be at least 18-years-old and currently enrolled in a degree-granting college or university with a major in Motion Design, Animation, Graphic/Digital Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
POSITION INFORMATION
This part-time position (up to 20 hours per week) offers a stipend of $18,720 or $18 per hour.04/10/2025
