Description:
Use your leadership experience, communication skills and passion for mentoring to help college students become actively engaged in advancing the gospel around the world. Develop and implement strategies that guide them toward service opportunities at SonSet Solutions that use their unique skills and experience. Lead our mobilization efforts that will teach, inspire, and involve college students and recent graduates in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
Qualifications:
Ā Excellent interpersonal skills and mentoring mindset.
Ā Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ā Working knowledge of international missions.
Ā Inclined to, and capable of, using technology for mobilization purposes.
Ā Good understanding of college students and an ability to relate to them according to their interests, needs, aspirations, and communication styles.
Ā Willingness to travel and interact with students on college campuses.
Responsibilities:
Ā Build relationships with Christian college students who are pursuing or have degrees in majors applicable to the work of SonSet Solutions, such as engineering, computer science, media and communications.
Ā Develop relationships with college administrators and professors through interaction on joint projects, college fairs, special programs, and events.
Ā Determine strategies that enhance recruitment of interns and Discover participants.
Ā Manage the internship application process and our college event participation.
Fundamental Requirements:
Be a born-again follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for service, passionate for the advancement of the gospel around the world, and willing to uphold the SonSet Solutions Statement of Faith.
This is a full-time or part-time position, either at our offices in Elkhart, Indiana, or working remotely. For supported staff, it requires the development of ministry partnerships for prayer and financial backing. A volunteer may also fill this position.
