Collections Specialist - Temporary Assignment

AppleOne is seeking experienced Collections Specialists for one of our clients located in Fort Worth, TX. Position Details -Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour -Schedule: Monday–Friday, shifts available from 7 AM–4 PM, 8 AM–5 PM, or 9 AM–6 PM -Saturday Rotation: 8 AM–12 PM (half-day flex during the week) -Training: 9 weeks, in-office (8 AM–5 PM) -Work Model: Hybrid — 4 days in office, 1 day work-from-home (based on performance) -Assignment Type: Temporary What You’ll Do As a Collections Specialist, you’ll play a key role in managing delinquent accounts and supporting the recovery process through effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving. Responsibilities include: -Manage inbound and outbound calls for assigned accounts -Analyze customer payment history and financial situations to determine next steps -Recommend repossession actions based on account analysis -Utilize multiple skip-tracing tools to locate customers or collateral -Negotiate payment plans or settlements with customers -Collaborate with vendors, attorneys, and internal teams for account follow-up -Coordinate documentation for litigation, extensions, or due date changes Qualifications -High School Diploma or GED required -Previous experience in collections, customer service, or financial services preferred -Strong communication and negotiation skills -Ability to work independently and meet deadlines -Reliable internet connection (must be able to hardwire if Wi-Fi is not stable) -Must be able to work in a quiet, professional environment when remote Key Qualities We’re Looking For -Dependable, consistent attendance -Receptive to feedback and able to implement changes -Flexible and adaptable — open to learning new tasks or supporting different areas within the collections team Why Work With AppleOne?
